About the role
- Finance Specialist managing daily accounting operations for Channel Factory's Italian team. Ensuring compliance and support for financial closings and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Italian statutory requirements and company accounting policies.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the EMEA finance team.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an international company
- Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and familiarity with IFRS principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in Italian and proficient in English (both written and verbal)
