About the role

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Italian statutory requirements and company accounting policies.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the EMEA finance team.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an international company
  • Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and familiarity with IFRS principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English (both written and verbal)
