About the role

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of projects from conception through validating compliance with workplace standards
  • Focus on infrastructure and equipment investments, handling reactive break/fix work requests and proactive planned project pipelines
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, team members, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed-upon specifications
  • Develop strong partnerships with internal and external partners and identify cost-saving and ESG opportunities for integration into project solutions
  • Develop, initiate, plan, and design project timelines and budgets while overseeing design process to ensure BU requirements align with client and JLL standards
  • Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage implementation of these strategies
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards set forth in project plans and specifications and communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
  • Lead execution of all project due diligence aspects through pre-fund and full fund including stakeholder and supplier engagement
  • Coordinate design approvals between stakeholders and ensure comments and corrections are captured
  • Leverage Facility Managers, MTS technicians, and partners to gather details for accurate project pipeline development
  • Travel approximately 30% of time for due diligence and scope development site visits within domestic US

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in MEP related fields, project management, engineering and operations
  • 7+ years of professional industry experience in Facility Management or Building Engineering
  • Excellent infrastructure and equipment knowledge and expertise
  • Effective communication and people skills
  • Deep understanding of construction management processes and principles
  • Experience with CMMS systems and project management applications
  • Ability to create and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external partners
  • Experience coordinating design approvals and capturing corrections
  • Ability to identify and escalate material changes affecting project goals or quality
  • Experience engaging with design partners to identify cost-saving opportunities (preferred)
  • Knowledge of ESG integration in project solutions (preferred)
  • Background in facility management or building engineering operations (preferred)
  • Experience with scope development and stakeholder engagement (preferred)
  • Understanding of workplace standards compliance and validation processes (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% domestically for due diligence and scope development site visits
