About the role
- Providing administrative support for two Managing Directors at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Managing logistics, communications, and organizational tasks in the Investments team.
Responsibilities
- Manage an extensive array of administrative tasks for the senior leaders on the team that require you to organize logistics: wrangle hectic calendars and prioritize time, book travel, plan events, etc.
- Anticipate the needs of the senior leaders and proactively seek appropriate resources to support the team
- Work collaboratively with our existing EAs to coordinate on administrative priorities and contribute to projects outside of normal scope when needed
- Manage expense reporting
- Organize and manage document library of communications related to our investment portfolio (letters, legal documents, performance statements, etc)
- Other tasks as requested, including but not limited to investment support work
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience with related administrative, operations or project management work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting senior level leaders in the banking or finance industry is preferred, but not required
- Excellent organizational skills: a self-starter with strong foresight, reliable, and outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize across projects to meet deadlines
- Flexible mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent judgment and respect for confidentiality and ethics
- Tech savvy, comfortable communicating virtually and learning new office tools (especially Google Apps like Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Spreadsheets and Slack)
