Responsibilities
Lead a small team of diverse, talented, and enthusiastic engineering professionals in the execution of the Contractor Standing Capability (CSC) activities
Develop priority engineering change documentation to maintain the VLF Communications Transmitter and its associated infrastructure
Manage the team to produce engineering changes that achieve regulatory compliance, safety and technical performance whilst meeting project schedules through delivery of key milestones within budget and timeframes
Diligently enforce the application of suitable engineering process to all engineering changes and their resulting technical artefacts
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal stakeholders
Oversee risk assessments for each CSC activity ensuring adequate mitigation of engineering and project risks, issues, and opportunities is performed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least ten years of post-graduate experience, including a minimum of 2 years of Engineering Management experience
Ability to lead a multi-faceted engineering team to manage engineering change on a diverse range of systems
Willingness to become and maintain a Chartered Professional Engineering status via Engineers Australia
Familiarity with a broad range of Australian Standard (AS) and especially electrical standards
Candidate must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
