About the role

  • Lead the development team, ensuring alignment between deliveries, projects and the needs of the business unit;
  • Direct efforts to achieve key objectives, ensure quality and secure the team's deliveries;
  • Ensure the roadmap is being followed, identifying and resolving impediments quickly;
  • Lead agile ceremonies and necessary rituals to maintain delivery cadence;
  • Understand the customer's/user's perspective and ensure issues are addressed effectively;
  • Monitor and improve metrics such as mean time to recovery, lead time, productivity, team efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Support the Manager in hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, etc.;
  • Report initiative status and updates to different hierarchical levels, ensuring visibility on progress, impediments and action plans;
  • Develop the team's soft and hard skills and lead knowledge management practices;
  • Recommend appropriate team training focused on technical capabilities and engagement;
  • Manage conflicts assertively, ensuring team harmony and continuity of deliveries;
  • Work in an agile, metrics- and results-driven environment;
  • Promote proactivity and autonomy, encouraging the team to anticipate problems and needs, seeking solutions before challenges arise;
  • Diagnose problems and anticipate solutions, ensuring best practices and delivery security;
  • Manage vendors and incidents, aiming to optimize processes and minimize failures.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in technical leadership, focused on managing software development teams, preferably in agile environments;
  • Experience coordinating complex projects, with system integrations and technological evolution;
  • Experience in people management (performance, 1:1 meetings, individual development plans, succession planning, development mapping, etc.);
  • Experience with metrics such as mean time to recovery, lead time, productivity, team efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Knowledge of architectural design to contribute to the team's technical decisions;
  • Knowledge of product development (roadmap building, outcomes, OKRs and KPIs, delivery oriented to problem solving and impact);
  • Familiarity with modern technologies such as Cloud Computing (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.);
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD);
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and monitoring performance metrics;
  • Experience as a software engineer, with an understanding of the main challenges developers face in the development cycle;
  • Ability to influence the team with solutions aligned to company strategy;
  • Skills in stakeholder and vendor management, ensuring solution sustainability and SLA compliance;
  • Experience implementing asynchronous practices and knowledge sharing;
  • Experience with artificial intelligence and automation in customer service channels;
  • Ability to give and solicit feedback constructively, aiming at team growth and process improvement;
  • Vision for technological evolution, applying industry best practices;
  • Focus on product relevance and innovation, ensuring quality and resilience of developed solutions;
  • Availability for hybrid work: required to attend our office in the Morumbi area of São Paulo once a month for 4 consecutive days, usually in the last or first week of the month (Creditas in Person).
