About the role

  • Work closely with a team of professionals in our Consulting division
  • Work with complex geotechnical projects
  • Provide technical expertise to exceed clients’ expectations
  • Interact with colleagues and clients to provide deliverables on time and within scope and budget
  • Review complete project documents for conformity to company standards and quality assurance
  • Plan project scope of work
  • Prepare required calculations and identify areas where additional expertise is needed
  • Prepare drafts of specifications and drawings
  • Prepare technical reports
  • Develop new techniques and/or improve processes, materials, or products
  • Attend conferences and networking events
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Requirements

  • EIT and ability to obtain PE
  • Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering; PhD Degree is preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong collaboration with ability to work effectively with colleagues and within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong time and people management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent client interface skills with strong commitment to client service
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%) and spend time on project site during critical stages
