About the role

  • Quantitative Developer at IC Markets developing performance-critical trading systems and implementing quantitative models. Collaborating with analysts to enhance real-time execution decisions in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement low-latency C++ components within trading infrastructure
  • Develop real-time signal processing pipelines
  • Create FIX protocol connectivity layers for market venue integration
  • Build backend services for quant model outputs
  • Design large-scale data processing systems for strategy validation
  • Ensure performance-critical analytics across ClickHouse for trade data
  • Manage cross-platform build infrastructure across Linux and Windows

Requirements

  • Deep C++ proficiency - production-grade, performance-critical, real-time systems
  • Hands-on HFT or low-latency design experience
  • FIX protocol implementation experience
  • Python with Pandas, NumPy, SciPy for research support and strategy validation pipelines
  • ClickHouse for analytical workloads - schema design, query performance, large-scale joins
  • Relational database experience: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL
  • Toolchain fluency: g++, MSVC, Make/CMake
  • REST API design and implementation
  • Git and professional version control workflows
  • Experience in CFD, or electronic trading market structure (strongly preferred)
  • MT4/MT5 or cTrader platform familiarity
