About the role

Responsibilities
- Independently perform structural calculations for pipe and equipment supports (SIA, Eurocode)
- Develop structural details
- Design structural supports in 3D models
- Piping structural analysis and design (EN, ASME)
- Design special supports for piping using FEM
- Improve processes and procedures
- Serve as the technical point of contact for junior colleagues, including quality assurance
- Technical coordination within projects
- Contribute to the preparation of tender documents, project cost estimates and acceptance procedures
- Act as deputy to the department head
Requirements
- Degree (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor or Master) in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification
- At least 7 years of professional experience in steel structure design projects
- Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical or biotech industries is an advantage
- Understanding of load paths and structural behaviour
- Familiarity with structural analysis software is an advantage, ideally Dlubal RFEM and Rohr2
- CAD skills and BIM experience are an advantage, e.g., Tekla Structures, Tricad MS, E3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit
- Fluent German and English, spoken and written
