About the role

• Electrical Field Service Engineer responsible for commissioning and troubleshooting critical electrical systems in Arizona. Working on various equipment while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on power distribution equipment (e.g., switchgear, UPS, generators, ATS, PDUs)
• Commission systems according to engineered specifications and document all startup testing
• Analyze failures and determine root causes with corrective action plans
• Interface with client facility teams to confirm power system integrity and schedule testing and repairs
• Maintain 24-hour call-out availability for critical service needs
• Respond to electrical faults, shutdowns, or customer escalations within required timeframes
• Lead restoration efforts with composure and technical accuracy under pressure
• Safety and Compliance

Requirements

• Active Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent)
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience (preferred)
• OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E; manufacturer training on switchgear, UPS, or generator systems (preferred)
• Skilled in interpreting schematics, single-line diagrams, MOPs, test reports, and load calculations
• Experience with digital multimeters, megohmmeters, power analyzers, IR cameras, and other diagnostic tools
• Adherence to NEC, IEEE best practices, and U.S. electrical field service protocols
