Provide leadership and technical support for troubleshooting and solving electrical issues on BP’s Terminal and Pipeline assets
Interface and communicate with operations and maintenance personnel
Coordinate vendor support and lead the team through resolution
Provide technical electrical and control system input and design support for Management of Change (MOC), Risk Assessments (HAZOPS) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
Facilitate MOC compliance with BP’s Terminal and Pipeline site technical practices and safety standards
Provide technical assistance to BP’s maintenance personnel, contractors, and suppliers regarding inspection and testing activities
Ensure key electrical facility documents are maintained and up-to-date
Assist the project team in project feasibility, scoping, solution evaluation, technical design, etc.
Requirements
5+ years petrochemical maintenance, reliability, or project engineering experience
Working knowledge of industry codes (NFPA 70 NEC, NFPA 70E, API RP 500, and other various NFPA and IEEE codes and standards)
Experienced and knowledgeable in onshore pipeline and terminal operations
Experienced and knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of Motor Control Center (Low and Medium voltage)
Experienced and knowledgeable in industrial control systems and instrumentation
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple points of contact in day-to-day work
Ability to balance competing priorities across multiple collaborators
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Equivalent Experience
