  • Electrical Engineer designing and optimizing electrical systems for modular components at TAS Energy. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative modular components and systems for manufacturing processes, considering factors such as functionality, efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
  • Act as an Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on data center/modular skid design projects to ensure technical excellence.
  • Make decisions on engineering challenges, practices, and methods, crafting innovative design solutions.
  • Responsible for the design of the whole electrical system including: one-line diagram, point-to-point schematic, and compiling bill of materials for all the electrical systems and components.
  • Provide expert advisory services on the projects.
  • Actively participate in meetings and conferences, representing TAS, engaging in discussions on critical electrical issues, and aligning technical strategies.
  • Work closely with the Design team who will utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit, AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of modular components, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Responsible for sizing, selection, and purchase assistance: switch-gear, starter, VFDs, MCCs, conduit and conductors, transformers, motor operated equipment (pumps, compressors), and control systems.
  • Generate comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and assembly instructions, to support the manufacturing and assembly of modular components.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to production teams during the manufacturing, assembly, and installation of modular components, resolving design-related issues as needed.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams: Project Engineers, Project Managers, Mechanical and Controls Engineers, Procurement, and Service Engineers/Technicians.
