About the role

  • Supports day-to-day execution of product management strategies: pricing, supplier share, etc.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with suppliers
  • Maintains and analyzes performance metrics relative to supplier commitments and recommends actions in support
  • Conducts negotiations with suppliers within product portfolio
  • Tracks performance relative to supplier rebate programs and recommends actions in support
  • Partners with regional commercial teams to collate market data for product portfolio
  • Uses data for internal decision making regarding pricing and product allocation as well as supplier relationship building
  • Provides guidance to local commercial teams regarding pricing
  • Executes on identified cost efficiency opportunities in collaboration with Supply Chain
  • Provides product and market updates to the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience (sales, marketing, product management)
  • Solid understanding of the chemical distribution business model
  • Solid relationship builder both externally and internally
  • Highly adaptable, self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
