About the role

  • Director of Product Management leading a team for QSC’s professional audio product portfolio. Driving product strategy, team performance, and market alignment with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • As Director of Product Management, you will lead and develop a talented team towards achieving QSC’s product strategy and business goals for our portfolio of award-winning DSP-driven active loudspeakers, software control apps and accessories.
  • You will be responsible for product portfolio performance, the growth and success of your product management team, development and maintenance of product roadmaps, and the execution of strategic initiatives.
  • You will play a key leadership role in determining product strategy, setting direction, forming important partnerships, championing voice of the customer within the organization, and building a high-performance team.
  • You must have a willingness to travel (up to 25%) including international travel.

Requirements

  • Industry-related Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years of experience within the professional audio industry, in the field of either product management, technical marketing, applications engineering support or sales management
  • Deep experience (minimum 10 years) within the professional audio industry as a manufacturer, integrator, consultant, end-user or marketer of professional audio products.
  • A demonstrated history of successfully contributing to new product development
  • Specialized knowledge of Professional audio applications, such as live sound reinforcement, AV integration, live recording/streaming, digital audio over IP, home recording, etc
  • Specialized knowledge of the Global professional audio market and nuanced understanding of international channels
  • Proficient with agile software methodology and Atlassian software tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and sets smart goals for each upcoming year
  • Budget & coordinate individual and team training to drive excellence and build new capabilities within the Product management function
  • Budget & approve team travel. This includes Product Management participation in trade shows, regional & national events, sales events & meetings, dealer events, and other related activities as deemed necessary
