About the role
- Administering and reviewing the performance of patient access functions within Ensemble Health Partners
- Identifying and implementing strategies to improve processes
- Promoting operational efficiency
- Enhancing the patient experience
- Meeting regulatory compliance guidelines
- Provides vision, leadership and operational oversight for on-site Patient Access staff within a specific hospital or market
- Will provide direction to all admitting and registration teams across all entry points
- Establishing positive, collaborative relationships with operational leaders
- Organizing functions through establishing clear accountabilities, delegation of duties and appropriate departmentalization without creating silos
- Developing and maintaining an effective, visible and well-respected team
- Managing recruiting and retention process
- Directing hiring and training for leadership and patient access staff
- Managing the budget
- May be required to perform other job-related duties as requested
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 + years of leadership experience
- 5+ years of Patient Access experience preferred
- Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environment required
- Financial and project management experience
- Experience setting strategies aimed at increasing associate engagement
- Flexible and can be available/work outside of regular business hours when needed
- Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills required
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- May be required to perform other job-related duties as requested
- CRCR certification required within first 9 months of hire
- CHAM preferred
