Responsibilities
- Formulate and lead the technology roadmap for global supply chain systems, ensuring alignment with QVC's business and IT strategies.
- Provide technical and functional direction, championing innovation and best practices in supply chain technology.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of growth, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product management, and technology leaders to evaluate and implement new solutions.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and fiscal responsibility across all supply chain application initiatives.
- Oversee external consulting resources and system integrators, ensuring successful delivery and support of key projects.
- Evaluate and streamline core technology processes, driving greater value and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- 8–10 years of experience implementing and supporting supply chain applications, with at least 4–6 years in a leadership role managing large-scale, cross-functional IT initiatives.
- Proven ability to translate business strategies into effective IT investment portfolios.
- Experience managing complex application portfolios, including both COTS and custom-built solutions.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain applications, business processes, and best practices in a business-to-consumer environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor management and working with system integrators/consulting teams.
- Experience in agile software development environments and with global/offshore teams preferred.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
