About the role
- Digital Trading Manager maximizing digital subscription revenue and reducing churn across Local News and Energy Communities. Collaborating with teams to design initiatives that achieve ambitious growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Drive subscription growth across Local News and Energy Communities.
- Maximize digital subscription revenue (ARPU, LTV), reduce churn, and optimize conversion.
- Develop optimal subscription pricing and promotional offers.
- Build and implement initiatives to convert high-value audiences.
- Lead and support upgrade and retention initiatives.
- Own the lapsed customer segment to win back previous subscribers.
- Play a key role in acquisition campaigns by planning and managing trading initiatives.
- Monitor and report on effectiveness of conversion and retention initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure customer-focused offers and share actionable insights.
Requirements
- Commercial Marketing Expertise
- User Conversion & Segmentation: Deep understanding of user behaviour and segmentation strategies.
- Data Tools Proficiency: Experience with analytics tools such as Looker (or similar).
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify opportunities and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Data Analytics: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and apply data effectively.
- Communication: Clear and effective communicator across teams and stakeholders.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects from concept to execution.
- Digital & Performance Marketing: Hands-on experience in digital channels and performance-driven marketing.
