About the role

Responsibilities
- Direct the activities of Site and District Safety Managers within a high-volume, automated supply chain environment
- Partner closely with Operations leadership to achieve key safety and performance objectives across all shifts
- Champion a proactive safety culture within a high automation and PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) environment
- Lead and standardize case management processes
- Oversee and enhance the onsite Athletic Trainer (AT) program
- Recognize and promote top safety performers
- Identify trends and opportunities through data analysis
- Develop and lead cross-functional safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Drive consistent execution of safety audits and risk assessments
- Partner with training teams to ensure robust onboarding and ongoing certification
- Establish clear goals and performance expectations for safety teams
- Collaborate with site leadership to integrate safety into daily operations
Requirements
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience implementing environmental compliance programs
- 3 years of supervisory/management experience in a team-focused environment
- Experience interpreting and applying state and federal environmental regulations
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
