Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize diagnostic systems for L4-ready EV architectures
Develop and maintain diagnostic systems for in-vehicle and connected diagnostics, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 14229 (UDS protocol)
Define and configure Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) protocols for vehicle ECUs, ensuring robust diagnostic communication and troubleshooting capabilities
Validate UDS protocol implementations using simulation and physical test environments
Collaborate on the design and integration of vehicle networks, including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and FlexRay protocols
Develop and support over-the-air (OTA) diagnostic and software update capabilities
Perform in-vehicle and bench testing to validate diagnostic systems and protocols
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet diagnostic requirements and prepare detailed technical documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
3+ years of experience in vehicle diagnostics, automotive networking, or related roles
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the UDS protocol (ISO 14229)
Proficiency in vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay)
Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and Diagnostic Development Environment (DDE)
Familiarity with diagnostic standards, including ISO 15765, ISO 14229, and SAE J1939
Experience with HIL/SIL setups for testing and validation.
