About the role

  • The Development Manager is responsible for leading a team of engineers while also contributing directly to code and architecture.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering growth and performance
  • Contribute hands-on technical work (approximately 50% people management, 50% coding)
  • Partner closely with product management to define and execute the roadmap
  • Maintain and improve legacy PHP applications
  • Guide architectural decisions for a new application using modern technologies
  • Write and review code (primarily .NET and React)
  • Implement best practices in CI/CD and cloud-based development
  • Ensure high quality, scalable, and maintainable software delivery

Requirements

  • 5–10 years in a lead or senior engineering role
  • 5–6 years of experience with .NET
  • 4–5 years of experience with AWS
  • 2–3 years of experience with React
  • Strong experience with SQL Server
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop engineering teams
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Nice To Have:
  • Experience with PHP
  • Mobile development experience (iOS/Android)
  • Experience in the payments industry
  • Familiarity with React Native
  • Prior B2B SaaS experience supporting large customer bases
  • Interest or experience in rock climbing or the gym industry
