About the role

  • Participate, in collaboration with your implementation team and end-user stakeholders, in evaluations of automation solutions based on business process optimization approaches.
  • Assist in capturing business requirements and contribute expertise in process optimization by recommending capabilities available in advanced automation technologies.
  • Develop automation solutions while ensuring adherence to pre-defined architectural guidelines and appropriate use of technologies.
  • Add new integrations by creating components in AWS (e.g., publishing a new endpoint on API Gateway, developing Lambda functions, managing secrets in Secrets Manager, etc.).
  • Ensure the proper operation, evolution, consistency, and performance of the automation solution ecosystem across development and production environments.
  • Draft various documents reflecting the directions of the Executive Vice-President and provide recommendations regarding the development and maintenance of automation solutions for management.
  • Contribute to research, experimentation, and improvement projects related to automation technologies.
  • Act as an advisor and technical reference for automation technologies.
  • Participate in coordinating activities and maintain, when needed, links with other ecosystem stakeholders: other IT implementation teams, operations teams, security, compliance, network, infrastructure, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, software engineering, or equivalent.
  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development and/or AWS integration in an Agile environment.
  • Functional proficiency in English, both spoken and written (asset).
  • Experience or interest in developing business process automation solutions using process orchestration tools.
  • Experience implementing AWS cloud concepts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a database query language such as SQL.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (GitHub, Jenkins) and containerization (Kubernetes).
  • Practical experience developing and maintaining APIs.
  • Familiarity with service-oriented architectures.
  • Strong ability to work in a team, experience in Agile methodologies, and a continuous desire to learn.
  • Experience integrating AI projects (asset).
