About the role
- Monitor and ensure the stability of data platforms and related systems.
- Investigate and eliminate root causes of recurring failures, proposing permanent solutions.
- Automate monitoring and alerting processes to anticipate failures.
- Ensure execution and delivery of reports at specific dates and times according to defined schedules.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and business teams to ensure data reliability.
- Document processes, incidents, and solutions implemented.
- Participate in planning meetings and reviews of operational deliveries.
Requirements
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of ETL and data integration tools (e.g., ODI (Oracle), ADF (Azure)).
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PySpark) for task automation.
- Familiarity with cloud environments — Azure required; AWS and GCP are a plus.
- Experience with Databricks solutions.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices and project management.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
- Focus on operational stability and reliability.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, AWS, or similar are a plus.
- Previous experience in mission-critical or high-availability environments.
