Responsibilities

• Discuss with faculty and senior researchers to identify research questions, discuss results, analyze alternative routes to ensure progress
• Conduct literature search prior to and throughout each research project to familiarize oneself with state of the art
• Implement code to run experiments to explore the research questions, analyze results
• Document work, including: documenting code, drafting manuscripts, prepare slideshow presentations for internal review and for conferences

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications: Intermediate Professional Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of professional experience as a machine learning researcher in an academic research institution or as a machine learning engineering/developer in a private company.
• Experience in coding using python, as well as using machine learning libraries such as sklearn, opencv, pytorch (or tensorflow).
• Senior Professional Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of professional experience as a machine learning researcher in an academic research institution or as a machine learning engineering/developer in a private company.
• Experience in coding using python, as well as using machine learning libraries such as sklearn, opencv, pytorch (or tensorflow).
• Principal Professional Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a machine learning researcher in an academic research institution or as a machine learning engineering/developer in a private company.
• Experience in coding using python, as well as using machine learning libraries such as sklearn, opencv, pytorch (or tensorflow).
• SUBSTITUTION: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
