About the role
- Develop and maintain data pipelines.
- Automate metadata extraction and metadata updates in data pipelines.
- Organise and cleanse raw data into usable information.
- Create and maintain automation routines for data and metadata processing.
- Maintain data platforms ensuring data quality.
- Write maintainable, performant code.
- Create and maintain systems documentation.
- Work with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to support a wide range of data initiatives.
- Collaborate with other functions to ensure data needs are addressed.
Requirements
- Proficient in Python.
- Experience with Airflow or equivalent.
- Experience with data-related Python packages.
- Understanding of SQL and analytical data warehouses.
- Experience with Docker is an advantage.
- Ability to assess faults, priorities, respond and escalate accordingly.
- Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to handle multiple support cases.
