Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and optimization of applications and architectures that process large volumes of data and meet users’/clients’ needs
- Contribute to the leadership and management of an experienced team of data engineers
- Continuously improve your skills and seek to enhance the tools and methods used (technology watch, R&D, sharing best practices, hackathons)
- Take part in code reviews with your team members, challenge implementations, share your expertise, and help develop junior Illuiners around you
- Participate in ceremonies and sprint reviews in direct connection with the client and our product teams
- Contribute to the evolution of our ML Ops technical stack
- Support the growth of our Data Engineering division by occasionally assisting the sales team with your technical expertise
- Participate in the development of cross-functional internal projects: research, operations, security, training, etc.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language (Java / Kotlin / Scala / Python)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Solid understanding of data processing solutions (queueing, streaming, batch processing, caching)
- Good understanding of data storage solutions (SQL / NoSQL databases, data warehouse, data lake, data lakehouse)
- Experience with Git and continuous integration tools
- Experience with Docker
