About the role
- Data Analyst guiding complex data projects at Motz, a digital transportation firm in Brazil. Collaborating with data scientists and analysts while ensuring data governance and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and execute complex data projects from requirements gathering through implementation and deployment of solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain robust and efficient data pipelines, ensuring ingestion, transformation, and loading of data from diverse sources.
- Contribute to the design, documentation, and evolution of the data platform architecture, ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and governance.
- Translate business needs into viable technical solutions aligned with the company’s data strategy and platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on the implementation of analytical and data intelligence solutions.
- Serve as a technical mentor, sharing knowledge of data engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- Proficiency with Office 365 and development environments.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
- Proven experience in data engineering, working in high-complexity and/or large-scale environments, including the use of Big Data technologies and modern data platforms.
- Experience implementing and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines, from design through monitoring and optimization.
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in data-related fields and analytics.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Advanced English.
