About the role
- Develop and build complex prompts, applications, and agents to support key customers
- Work closely with Customer Success to transform customer input data into first-rate content using WRITER’s Palmyra models
- Ensure customer content aligns with style and formatting requirements
- Create and optimize base prompts and iterate to improve customer content pipelines
- Utilize linguistic expertise to craft search patterns enforcing customer formatting guidelines
- Design, develop, and evaluate prompt chains for specific content creation tasks
- Scope technical projects with stakeholders and customers and define best practices for usage
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of prompt engineering processes and outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering to integrate prompt engineering work into the product
- Report initially to the VP of Technical delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer science, Linguistics, or a related field
- Solid coding proficiency using Python
- Professional experience in prompt design and a deep understanding of linguistic principles
- Expertise working with search patterns for morphology and word patterns
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and evaluating base prompts
- Knowledge of natural language processing and machine learning concepts is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Problem-solving mindset and a passion for working on complex challenges
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to attend in-person collaborative working sessions in office 2-3 days/week
- Willingness/ability to legally work in the country where the job is located (may require authorization or visa)
