About the role
- Develop and deploy AI/ML models to optimize business operations and detect financial crime risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI use cases in operational workflows and compliance processes
- Build scalable AI pipelines and APIs for integration into enterprise systems
- Apply machine learning techniques to automate fraud detection, anomaly detection, and risk scoring
- Monitor and evaluate model performance using KPIs and business impact metrics
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and ethical AI standards
- Document models, processes, and decision logic for transparency and auditability
- Stay current with AI advancements, especially in the domains of financial crime prevention and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
- Proven experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models in production environments
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- experience with fraud detection, AML systems, or financial risk modeling.
- Knowledge of EU data protection regulations and ethical AI standards
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
