Responsibilities
- Manage the creative process from concept to completion
- Collaborate with freelance artists and internal teams
- Hiring and mentoring creative staff
- Review work, troubleshoot, and provide feedback to creatives
- Ensure each cover captures the essence of the book while appealing to its target audience
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in book-cover design with demonstrable success across a variety of fiction and nonfiction genres
- Strong Mac skills with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software, with strong emphasis in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- BFA College degree or equivalent work experience in Graphic Design, Typography, and/or Illustration preferred
