Controller responsible for optimizing product cost accounting and monthly financial reporting in the automotive sector. Engage in cross-functional collaboration to improve financial structures and processes.
Responsibilities
Development and optimization: You will drive the further development of product result accounting and optimize cost center planning as well as profit center accounting.
Product controlling: You analyze cost centers and cost units (cost objects), prepare product cost calculations and derive corrective measures from variances between planned and actual results.
Monthly reporting: You prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, plan rolling forecasts and prepare reports for the monthly reporting to the holding company.
Process and structural development: Support the restructuring and integration of two plants with a focus on creating efficient structures.
Cross-departmental collaboration: Act as an interface with various business units and contribute, through cross-functional thinking, to the assessment of monthly and annual financial statements as well as budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification
Experience in (production) controlling, ideally in a manufacturing company or within the automotive sector
Strong knowledge of SAP (CO/FI) and MS Office (especially Excel)
Analytical mindset and strong numerical skills
Willingness to engage deeply with production processes
Assertiveness, initiative and a strong sense of responsibility
