Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic financial leader, providing insights on financial reporting, capital management, and regulatory compliance in a highly regulated environment.
- Prepare annual standalone financial statements and manage the independent audit process.
- Support annual regulatory audits and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements.
- Manage preparation and submission of regulatory reports, including FR 2900, FR 2644, FR 2420, TIC, and quarterly Call Reports.
- Maintain and enhance an economic stress test model to support balance sheet and capital management decisions.
- Develop and present board-level financial reporting packages, including KPIs, variance analysis, and strategic insights.
- Collaborate on capital planning and balance sheet management strategies to maintain regulatory capital levels and optimize liquidity.
- Drive process automation and efficiency improvements across finance and reporting functions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering accountability and growth.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting within a banking environment
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations
- Industrial bank experience preferred
- CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
