Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, billing, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Develop and manage internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance frameworks
- Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee tax filings and coordinate external audits
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and software tools to support automation and scalability
- Provide strategic financial insights to cross-functional teams and executive leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA
- 6-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
- Big 4 public accounting experience highly desirable
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with US GAAP
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
