• Complex Claims Consultant managing highly complex healthcare professional liability claims for CNA Insurance. Collaborating with internal partners and ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met to resolve claims.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of highly complex healthcare professional liability claims.
• Ensures exceptional customer service by managing all aspects of the claim.
• Verifies coverage and establishes timely and adequate reserves.
• Leads focused investigation to determine compensability, liability and covered damages.
• Resolves claims by collaborating with internal and external business partners.
• Establishes and manages claim budgets by achieving timely claim resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically a minimum six years of relevant experience, preferably in claim handling or medical malpractice litigation.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable.
• Understanding of dental malpractice claims and policies is strongly favored.
• Demonstrated analytical and investigative mindset with critical thinking skills.
• Strong work ethic, with demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn business-related software.
