About the role
- Capital Markets Engineer on Data and Reporting Platform team. Designing scalable solutions supporting front-office trading and capital markets operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain solutions for trading workflows, order management, and capital markets data flows.
- Build integrations with OMS platforms (e.g., Aladdin, Murex, Charles River).
- Write clean, scalable code in Python and SQL.
- Design and optimise data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS.
- Apply engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and front-office stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security, and enterprise architecture.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Demonstrable experience in asset management, wealth management or investment banking
- Strong understanding of capital markets trade lifecycle and order management workflows
- Experience building data pipelines and ETL processes in asset management or investment banking
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake
- Familiarity with OMS platforms and production trading systems
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
