About the role

  • Cloud Engineer managing secure AWS cloud infrastructures based on Infrastructure as Code. Collaborating closely with incident response, DevOps, and development teams for security.

Responsibilities

  • Build, operate and develop secure AWS cloud infrastructures based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Provision and manage Kubernetes clusters, e.g. EKS, and maintain them efficiently
  • Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines including DevSecOps checks
  • Support the Incident Response team in the analysis and handling of IT security incidents
  • Work closely with clients as well as DevOps, security and development teams

Requirements

  • Several years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure automation, e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes operations and security
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Analytical mindset to structure complexity, clarify relationships, and the ability to design and explain concepts
  • Very good presentation and communication skills in German
