About the role
- Cloud Engineer developing secure AWS infrastructures and supporting incident response teams. Collaborating with clients and technical teams to enhance cybersecurity measures and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, operate and develop secure AWS cloud infrastructures based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Provision and manage Kubernetes clusters, e.g. EKS, and operate them efficiently
- Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines, including DevSecOps checks
- Support the incident response team in analyzing and handling IT security incidents
- Work closely with customers as well as DevOps, security and development teams
Requirements
- Several years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure automation, e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes operations and security
- Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Analytical skills to structure complexity and clarify relationships, plus the ability to design concepts and explain them
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
