About the role

  • Lead delivery of Image Guided Therapy (IGT) clinical education to Philips customers across the East Zone
  • Provide basic through intermediate application training in hospitals and clinics
  • Deliver engaging onsite clinical services solutions, education, and training
  • Guide customers in testing workarounds, clinical integration, and new functionality of solutions
  • Ensure site readiness through collaboration with local sales, service and customer project management teams
  • Lead and own the learning experience through customer consultation and collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Provide excellent customer experience for onsite training and customer communication
  • Provide continuous and effective communication on project status, including issues and delays
  • Build communication and encourage collaboration within the learning audience
  • Gain complete knowledge of relevant solutions per modality and obtain advanced proficiency in areas of specialization
  • Address and resolve a diverse scope of problems using good judgement to identify solutions
  • Travel approximately 90% across the East Zone, with driving times of 1-6 hours and occasional overnight and national travel

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a cardiovascular or interventional radiology Registered Radiologic Technologist in a clinical environment
  • Prior clinical preceptor, clinical training, and/or adult education delivery experience preferred
  • Verification of current/active certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
  • Advanced certification in one of: Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (CV), Cardiac Interventional Radiology (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or required to obtain within 12 months)
  • Certificate or associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Certified Technical Trainer Plus (CTT+) preferred
  • Passion for technology and education related to patient care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in office/home office and/or remote settings and in hospital/healthcare environments
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs
  • Ability to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials and wear required personal protective equipment
  • May be required to comply with vendor credentialing
  • US work authorization is a precondition; company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to one of: Charleston, WV; Charlotte, NC; Greensboro, NC; Richmond, VA
  • Candidates must be located near (within 1 hour drive) a major (non-regional) airport
