About the role

  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in civil and commercial litigation matters, as well as in construction disputes.
  • Draft memoranda, pleadings, procedural documents, and other legal materials in accordance with established standards.
  • Represent clients at hearings and during judicial proceedings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support litigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • Law degree and member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec.
  • 1–3 years of experience in civil, commercial and/or construction litigation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing constructively as a team member.
  • Analytical mindset and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work on varied files and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
