About the role

  • CI/CD Engineer supporting critical Intelligence solutions for NGA customers as part of the SAFFIRE program. Ensure rigorous testing and reliability of systems supporting national security.

Responsibilities

  • Build and Maintain Infrastructure as Code for cloud-based services
  • Procure, Build and Maintain Configuration Management for On-Prem Hardware and Assets
  • Procure, install, and manage software licenses
  • Assist in establishment, maintenance and troubleshooting of cloud-based and on-prem networking
  • Automate development and operations processes to ensure reliability and repeatability
  • Provide and maintain standard operating systems environments
  • Test integrated systems, including cloud deployments, system tuning, patching, and monitoring to ensure seamless performance and compatibility.
  • Provide technical validation and troubleshooting for end-users experiencing issues related to Geospatial Intelligence software applications, hardware, or other technology-related problems.
  • Work in a team environment to solve complex problems including close collaboration with development engineers to diagnose, replicate, and verify fixes for complicated technical issues.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy learning new technologies and overcoming new challenges.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to integrate testing into continuous deployment workflows.
  • Experience managing unclassified and classified development environments including workstations, servers, and GIS infrastructure
  • Understanding of network configuration in cloud and on-prem environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for this job.
  • Possess an IAT Level II certification (like Security+), or be able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Experience deploying infrastructure with GIS software and coordinating integration tests between commercial and FOSS software implementations.
