About the role
- Business Intelligence Engineer responsible for developing BI and CRM solutions. Working closely with various operational units to derive insights from data in a diverse team.
Responsibilities
- You oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of BI and CRM solutions (e.g., dashboards, reports, ETL processes)
- You design and optimize data models for efficient querying and analysis
- You are responsible for extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) of data from various sources
- You automate data pipelines and ensure data quality
- You work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
- You perform ad-hoc analyses and provide decision support for management and business units
- You manage monitoring of BI systems, optimize performance and ensure data integrity
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent qualification
- Extensive experience with tools such as Power BI, Looker, Confluence, Jira, ZOHO or Planhat
- Good knowledge and experience with relational databases and ETL processes
- Programming skills are a plus
- Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling techniques
- Analytical thinking and the ability to present complex datasets clearly
- Strong understanding of operational business processes and implementing structured optimization measures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
