About the role

  • Business Development Manager enhancing sustainable customer relationships at JAKALA Germany. Identifying business opportunities and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to drive digital projects.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship architect: You build long-term partnerships and strategically develop existing client relationships.
  • Requirements specialist: You analyze client requirements, identify opportunities, and coordinate internal specialists to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Pitch professional: You manage RFPs and pitches in close collaboration with Pre-Sales, Client Strategy, Tech, and UX — from concept to presentation.
  • Proposal designer: You create compelling proposals and presentations that impress both in content and visually.
  • Financial modeler: You price business models and proposals in collaboration with the Client Strategy team.
  • Trend scout: You have a keen sense for new technologies, digital product development, and market trends — and you bring these insights into our sales strategy.
  • Market analyst: You turn market feedback into concrete actions and develop attractive offers from it.
  • Networker: You represent us at relevant events and continuously expand your network in line with our sales strategy.
  • Team player: You work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Client Strategy to further develop our sales activities.

Requirements

  • Proven success in generating and converting sales pipelines, and a strong network of relevant contacts
  • Experience in creating service offerings at a digital agency
  • Knowledge and understanding of the digital market and relevant digital products, including content platforms, apps, websites, and CRM
  • Strong willingness to continuously engage with new technological developments and trends
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with the company's services and market positioning in the digital agency/software sector
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong results orientation
  • Willingness to travel within the target market
