About the role

• Assisting with budgeting, cost analysis, and project information organization in construction. Collaborating on proposals and project feasibility as part of a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Estimating/Budget department in preparing and verifying quantities, cost composition, and comparative analysis of systems and products, contributing to the accuracy of proposals and project feasibility through reading project drawings, requesting quotations, and organizing technical information.
• Assist in preparing construction cost estimates and cost breakdowns;
• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs using project drawings;
• Request quotations for services and materials from suppliers and procurement;
• Prepare comparative studies of systems or products;
• Review project drawings, specifications (descriptive reports), and briefings to understand the product and technical characteristics of the project;
• Compare descriptive specifications with quantity spreadsheets and sales specifications.
• Perform related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields;
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Office suite)
