Benefits Business Consultant providing expert consultancy and training on MRI’s Revenues & Benefits software. Engaging with clients across the UK to enhance their use of Housing & Council Tax Benefits software.
Responsibilities
Deliver tailored training to both new and existing customers on MRI’s Benefits applications.
Provide on-site and remote consultancy services, including software configuration and data validation.
Lead or support data cleansing activities, data extraction for Freedom of Information requests, and management return preparation.
Create and maintain high-quality, customer-facing training materials and documentation.
Deliver seminars and webinars, particularly for end-of-year processing and subsidy completion.
Produce bespoke reports using your understanding of system architecture and database structures.
Support software implementation and conversion projects.
Investigate client-reported issues in detail, providing solutions or effective workarounds.
Develop familiarity with system integrations and interface specifications.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Housing & Council Tax Benefits software (ideally MRI/Academy/Capita One).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
A flexible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Comfortable working independently and using your own initiative.
Confident in building strong, lasting client relationships.
Willingness to travel across the UK for client engagements.
A technically minded outlook, with a solid grasp of database structures and reporting tools.
