Responsibilities
Represent Servent in a professional manner with customers and Microsoft to build on the relationship and reputation already present.
Initially you will own your aligned territory mapping to Microsoft and align to the Servent blueprint on how we engage with the key Microsoft teams.
Own the regular cadence calls with the various Microsoft teams to grow your network and uncover opportunities.
Be a hands-on solution specialist building a pipeline of opportunities in new and existing customers across Azure Infrastructure, Security, Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation.
As part of our growth, you will be central to helping us build your team.
Accurately forecast, assess risk, and identify exceptional performance plans in weekly deal and pipeline reviews with senior management.
Coach teams to excel at opportunity management and forecasting accuracy to successfully plan and prioritise weekly, monthly, and quarterly interaction with our customers and Microsoft.
Coach team members in modern sales and communications tools & techniques to effectively reach, sell to and manage Microsoft customers, including coaching the team to engage in product demos.
Report on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and deliver competitive business insights, trends, and analysis to drive ongoing performance improvements.
Drive operational excellence of key metrics including conversions, pipeline, velocity, and accuracy.
Improve sales and technical competency via mentoring; supporting individual professional development and growth from both personal and team perspectives.
Requirements
Previous employment in a similar role with either Microsoft or a Microsoft Partner organisation.
Come from an Azure solutions background in either a technical or sales role.
Demonstratable knowledge of Azure Infrastructure, Security, Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation solutions to a level where you can confidently sell these solutions.
You could be a previous Azure Practice Lead, Azure Solutions Specialist, or a Microsoft Sales leader with experience selling Azure Infrastructure, Security, Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation solutions.
Understanding of the Microsoft sales segmentation and engagement approach.
Good understanding of the Microsoft business model and how they engage with Partners (such as Servent), ideally with an awareness of the available Microsoft funding programs.
Good understanding of the Microsoft Azure SMC business in the UK & Ireland.
Be well networked across relevant Microsoft Azure SMC teams and individuals in the Azure space with individual relationships that can be built upon in this role.
Bring existing customer relationships to the role to sell Servent services into.
Can sell end to end solutions on Azure at a reasonable technical level including delivering presentations and creating statement of work proposals whilst working alongside our Architects.
Proficient with Microsoft tools such as Dynamics 365 for opportunity tracking, Microsoft 365 and specifically Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
5+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or related experience.
5+ years’ experience designing and deploying Azure Infrastructure, Security, Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation solutions.
2+ years people management experience (including leading virtual teams).
Deep technical understanding of cloud deployment scenarios and workloads.
A continual learned and the ability to stay up to date on new/improved Azure Infrastructure, Security, Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation solutions as they become available.
Azure Certified – currently holds (or willing to) achieve the following certifications: AZ-900 – Azure Fundamentals, AI-900 - Azure AI Fundamentals and DP-900 - Azure Data Fundamentals.
