About the role
- Provide executive leadership for Auto Physical Damage processes at USAA, overseeing strategies, investigations, and team development across various locations.
Responsibilities
- Provides executive leadership and oversight for Auto Physical Damage process
- Responsible for member service, accuracy of indemnity, expense management, employee engagement
- Develops Auto Physical Damage strategies to support enterprise objectives
- Leads virtual and office-based leaders across multiple geographic locations
- Oversees Auto Physical Damage investigations, evaluations, settlements, and operations for auto claims
- Acts as a strategic liaison between USAA and external partners
- Monitors utilization and quality of auto physical damage third-party supply chain
- Builds, develops, and leads a team of individual contributors and managers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- 10 years of progressive Physical Damage/Auto Claims related experience
- 6 years of people leadership experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of automobile repair techniques, property and casualty insurance principles, coverage interpretations, adjustments procedures, and the law governing contracts and torts
- Extensive knowledge of property and casualty products and services, risk, regulatory compliance, and regulations.
