About the role
- Associate STEM Content Analyst analyzing patents and preparing abstracts for Derwent products. Contributing to high-quality content enrichment in Chemistry patents at Clarivate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare abstract for patents in accordance with set rules defined in DWPI Abstracting policy document
- Perform detailed analysis of patents to provide accurate and editorially enhanced technical information
- Capture useful insights from the patent data to generate editorially enhanced technical summary of patent records
- Use Clarivate specific tools for content editing, abstraction and curation
Requirements
- Graduate in MSc Chemistry (General, Organic, Inorganic, Physical & Analytical, MSc Polymer Science)
- Good understanding of patents
- Strong domain knowledge in chemistry and related technology fields
- Certification in typing (preferred)
- Extensive knowledge about patents and drafting (preferred)
- Great English comprehension skills (preferred)
