Support the execution of active merger, acquisition, divestiture and capital raising advisory mandates
Supporting the information gathering process
Assisting the team in the creation of marketing materials
Supporting the analysis of the financial implications of proposals
Supporting the due diligence process through to the close of a transaction
Create confidential information memorandums, management presentations, client proposals, pitch books, marketing materials and other general presentations
Prepare detailed financial models
Research and develop an awareness of mergers & acquisition activity, trends and developments
Valuation of businesses using comparable trading analysis, precedent transaction analysis, discount cash flow analysis and other industry metrics
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in a business-related discipline, along with a professional designation (e.g. CPA, CBV, CFA)
At least 3-5 years’ of investment banking, M&A transaction advisory or due diligence support, private equity, or corporate development experience is required
Experience in financial modeling & analysis is required
Significant presentation/interactive skills sufficient to clearly convey ideas and solutions to unstructured business problems
Ability to synthesize large quantities of information plus excellent writing skills to concisely explain a client’s business and attract interest from buyers/investors
Strong computer skills working with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Bloomberg, CapIQ
