About the role

  • Participate in the preparation of multi-year forecasts of revenues, expenses and assets under management
  • Collaborate with the business and other key stakeholders on analysis of data and development of forecast assumptions
  • Analyze and prepare commentary around trends and drivers of actual and forecasted data
  • Support the creation of presentations and other reporting used to communicate the financial results of the business to senior management
  • Support development of dashboards to enhance financial reporting
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis requested by business partners and senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field
  • 5+ years of prior working experience in finance function preferably in a Forecasting or Financial Reporting role but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates curiosity and interest in learning about the business and its key drivers
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Requires a high ethical standard and an ability to work with confidential information
  • Prior working experience in financial services industry, banking, insurance industry and/or asset management is preferred
  • CFA or MBA a plus
