About the role
- Associate Director/Director leading MSL team in Oncology at Eisai. Overseeing operations and ensuring compliance with medical and regulatory guidelines while managing a diverse team.
Responsibilities
- Leadership, direction, and management of MSLs in the region
- Collaboration with Medical Affairs Senior management for strategic and tactical planning
- Individualized development plans and performance assessments for direct reports
- Creation of a culture of accountability within the MSL team
- Ensure operational excellence of the MSL team
- Compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines
- Manage MSL activities related to external presentations and recruiting new MSLs
- Travel approximately 50%, including local and international
Requirements
- Advanced scientific terminal degree (MD, PhD, PharmD)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry overseeing a Medical Science Liaison team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and management skills
- Strong personal integrity and customer focus
- Thorough understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, PhRMA, GCP and other international regulatory/ethical guidelines
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment
