About the role

  • Help deliver innovative digital solutions that support critical defence operations
  • Work on projects that shape the future of technology within Babcock, ensuring systems and processes meet the highest standards of security and efficiency
  • Developing tasking orders to secure resources and manage delivery
  • Facilitating and agreeing requirements, project scope, and solutions for work packages
  • Monitoring schedules and maintaining project cost and time estimates
  • Supporting risk management processes, including identification and mitigation of risks
  • Driving improvements in quality, schedule, and cost while capturing lessons learned

Requirements

  • Experience applying APM, PRINCE2, and ITIL methodologies in project environments
  • Proven background in project management or PMO roles with full lifecycle understanding
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, scheduling, budgeting, risk, and stakeholder management
  • Familiarity with project management frameworks and leadership principles
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification
  • Prince2 or APMP certification (or equivalent)
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
