About the role

  • Responsible for the design of all Perry Homes products, including developing preliminary floor plans and elevation designs.
  • Analyze designs for cost compliance, value engineering, and overall design efficiency.
  • Collaborate with CAD producers to ensure proper implementation of design concepts and review plans for design accuracy.
  • Design new elevations for existing products.
  • Work with Production Manager to oversee flow of plans through department.
  • Conduct field reviews of Perry Homes products as well as competition.
  • Frequently complete projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints.
  • Exercise discretion and judgment in architectural design; perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field required.
  • Licensed Architect a plus.
  • Requires at least 3 years of experience in design with an emphasis in high-end residential design.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, 3D color rendering, and sketch-up preferred.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
